The newcomer came out immediately in two body versions - the regular and Coupe. Thus, Porsche plans to separate the demand for the classic model and for the stylish and not practical. The only thing that unites the two Cayenne is a gasoline 8-cylinder engine with two superchargers and an electric motor for 134 extra hp. As we noted, working together, the powerplant develops 670 hp. and 900 Nm of torque. The Tiptronic 8-speed automatic gearbox is paired with the engine. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid, with the optional Chrono Sports Package, accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.8 seconds. The top speed of the crossover is 270 km / h. The average fuel consumption is claimed to be less than 10 liters per hundred. The SUV uses a 14.1 kWh battery that powers the electric motor. On electric traction the car can travel up to 40 km at speeds up to 80 km / h. You can fully charge the battery within two and a half hours of a normal charging station. At the same time Cayenne has not lost its practicality, because the luggage compartment at 645 liters looks huge.
The car starts in E-Power mode by default, and the gasoline engine starts only when needed. The driver can also switch between E-Power, E-Hybrid, Sport and Sport Plus modes, controlling the performance of the hybrid setup. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid comes with adaptive dampers and three-chamber air suspension, ceramic brakes and laser lights.
The interior looks just like a regular crossover except for some elements and a virtual dashboard. The quality of the high-quality finishing materials is confirmed by natural aluminum, carbon and leather.
Overall, the new Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid reaffirmed its high status not only in terms of technology but also as a stylish and eco-friendly car. Dynamics will have to pay quite expensive, and seriously, the price for the top version of the Cayenne will start from the mark of 140 thousand euros…
